Love U Human is a new mobile MOBA built on fast gameplay, playful philosophy, and digital safety—all wrapped in a cosmic, pinball-like universe. To introduce the game ahead of launch, we created a fully animated YouTube miniseries, scripted by Rick & Morty writer Eric Acosta. The goal: to build story, explain core mechanics, and establish the absurdly adorable logic of a world where dogs are in charge, bots are the enemy, and humans remain hilariously uneducated about digital safety.
Strategy
Set aboard a dog-run spaceship, the narrative follows a mission to protect humans from bots and bad online behavior. Equal parts sci-fi comedy and digital PSA, the miniseries brought the game’s worldview to life—balancing entertainment with a surprisingly serious message about security, simplicity, and financial health. The campaign was designed to resonate with casual and mid-core gamers alike.
Design
The visual style blends kid-friendly graphics with a cosmic twist: bold, absurd, and endlessly scrollable. Characters were hand-drawn by the game’s illustrator and animated in Adobe Animate, while AI-generated assets powered the environments, backdrops, and UI elements. Custom typography, glitch animations, and narrative-rich shorts were adapted into YouTube episodes, Shorts, Reels, and static posts.
Developed in collaboration with Donut Lab and Acosta, the campaign established a unique creative tone for Love U Human. Post-launch content will continue the story, expanding into blockchain mechanics, token education, and in-game rewards.
